This program is designed to provide prevention and intervention support for students in danger of being cited for
truancy. The program consists of three components:
- The 3. 5 hour classroom educational portion of the program is designed so that both teens and their parents or legal guardian must participate.
- Four free sessions of follow up counseling are offered to the student upon completion of the educational class.
- An optional in depth assessment may be conducted in order to understand all issues related to an individual student's truancy struggles.

Payment can be made by:
- Pre-paying on line with a credit card.
- When completing the online payment page, please put the STUDENT'S first and last name in the space provided and in the space marked "Company" please provide the name of the school your student attends.
- Paying with credit card, cash or money order in person at the following locations:
- Main Office at 2600 Ave. K, Suite 140 in Plano or
- BGCCC Administrative Offices at 701 S. Church Street in McKinney
NOTE:
- No payment will be accepted on the day of the class.
- Late students will not be admitted in class. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the beginning of your scheduled class.
- Only Students and parents or adult guardians are permitted to participate in this class. Please do not bring older or younger children. You will not be admitted to the class if additional children accompany you.
- No refunds will be given.
- Guardians must sign a consent form for students under the age of 18.
- YOU MUST PAY IN ORDER TO BE FULLY REGISTERED AND RESERVE A SPOT IN THE CLASS.
When:
Classes are traditionally held on the first and third Saturdays of every month in
both McKinney and Plano. Additional classes may be added as the demand increases. The educational classes are limited to ten sets of student/parent participants (a total of 20 participants) per session.
- Middle School student/parent sessions are held from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
- High School student/parent sessions are held from 1:00 – 4:30 pm
