Since the events of 09/11, all statements of threat – whether statements of threat to self, others or property – have taken on more significance.  Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County Family Services Counseling Center in Plano, TX, works to provide the most complete and comprehensive Threat Assessment services to Collin County School Districts, Collin College and the business community in our county.

Threat Assessments provided by BGCCC Family Services are not Psychiatric or Psychological Evaluations. They are assessments designed specifically as a first line of response to statements or actions by students or employees that create a sense of concern for their well-being, the well-being of others or property. Any recommendations made by BGCCC Family Services are given as either a final evaluation or as an intermediate step toward more detailed and involved treatment or intervention options.
